About Robbie Leinart

Robbie was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and has been working as a nurse since 1999. She is a summa cum laude gradute of the University of Tenneesee College of Nursing where she received her Master's of Science in Nursing in 2006. She graduated from Fort Sanders School of Nursing in Knoxville where she received her Diploma RN in 1999. She also received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 2003. She is certifed by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as a Adult Health Nurse Practitioner (ANP), and is a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee.

Robbie began her professional nursing career in 1999 as a staff nurse at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, where she worked in the areas of critical care and interventional radiology. In 2001, she began working as an endoscopy registered nurse at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center before completeing her Master's degree in Nursing and board certification as an Adult Health nurse practitioner. She has been working as a gastroenterology nurse practitioner since 2007. She has experience in treating multiple gastrointestinal conditions, with concentration in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Hepatitis C and other liver diseases.

Since 2010, Robbie was selected as adjunt faculty member with the University of Tennessee College of Nursing in Knoxville. She provides an annual lecture on chronic GI disorders to upcoming graduate nursing students. She has recently been invited to be an expert speaker in the field of gastroenterology for educational programs.

Robbie is very passionate about her career and caring for her patients. She takes pride in helping others, especially in her daily encounter with patients. She is always ready to take the time needed to uncover the cause of the medical problems so that her patients can get effective relief as quickly as possible. She demonstrates a unique level of understanding and compassion.

Robbie has been married to her husband Jason since 2013. They have two toy poodles, named Maggie and Millie, who are like their children. During her personal time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys working out, running in local races, and interior decorating and design.
